Little Mexican Suite is one of four Americana suites by Margaret Goldston. The other suites are
Little Mountaineers Suite, Little Pioneers Suite, and Country Scenes in Black (or White). This is the
easiest set of the four, with hand positions limited to thumbs on middle C or D, and basic rhythms limited to quarter notes through whole notes. First published in 1987 (the last published of the four suites) by Galaxy Music Corporation, these colorful solos are accessible for beginning pianists.

The preparation of this new edition involved comparisons between various workshop copies
of the collection, where Margaret wrote sketches and scripts for her presentations. The updated
engraving includes suggested metronome markings.  An extensive foreword is included, and also the original cover art.
